 How to unwind and relax after a long day?

Sometimes we ignore the fact that how much unwinding and relaxing is important after a long hectic day. Life now a days have gotten very fast and everyone is busy working. To have a good mental and physical health it is very important to take out at least 1 hour for ourselves in which we should relax our mind and body. The body needs rest and  meditation to de-stress because if stress is not released in a timely manner it can result in anxiety and depression. 

To unwind and to relax just laying down also helps and giving that time to yourself only which means not using your phone or doing anything else one should just be in the moment to relax. Exercising daily or at-least 3-4 times a week is the best way to release all the negative energy from your body. It leaves you feeling fresh and energetic and boosts happy hormones in the body. 

Another way to relax is taking a hot water bath after you’re done for the day makes you feel fresh, and specially taking a bath before going to bed stimulates better sleep. Spending some time close to nature is very healing and takes away all the stress. Some ways of spending time close to nature can be going to the park for a walk, going for a hike in the mountains or take a long walk at the beach. The sound of the waves are calming and it helps calm down our mind. 

Not only these, but there are various other ways to relax which works too. So its important to explore what works for yourself and make a habit to spend sometime alone to unwind.
