As you all know that Ramadan Kareem is just 2 to 3 days away and we are all excited about it and we are also very much excited about Eid as well. Eid-ul-Fitr is a blessing for all the muslims in the world in fact it is a gift from Allah in return of the Roza’s we keep in the holy month of Ramadan. Eid-ul-Fitr is basically an Islamic festival.
Well let me tell you how i celebrate Eid with my family. So i basically belong to a very typical desi family. Where we follow all cultural and traditional traditions. On first day of Eid we all offer Namaz first and then get dressed up fancy early in the morning, and directly go to our eldest Taaya’s place where all of my other cousins come too. We all gather at his place as he’s the eldest of all of my Taaya’s and Phupho’s. There we do our breakfast and lunch and dinner, apply henna (Mehndi) on each other’s hands. Play different different games. Try to enjoy all the good and positive moments together. Same goes for day 2. And on the third day on Eid i arrange gathering at my place for both of my paternal and maternal families.
I feel that we should celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr to the fullest with our families and relatives and friends with happiness and joy. That’s all it is about!
