Hot Water and Lemon Infusion
Ingredients:
1 to 1 1/2 cups boiling water
Juice of 1/2 freshly squeezed lemon
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
Pinch of red chilli powder or cayenne pepper
Pinch of salt
Pinch of sugar
Directions:
Mix in mug and stir well.
Hot Ginger Tea
Ingredients:
3 ounces thinly-sliced ginger root.
1 cup water
Directions:
Boil and then strain. Add honey to taste.
Hot Turmeric Milk
Ingredients:
2 cups unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup light coconut milk
2 tablespoons raw honey
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 black pepper
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of cayenne pepper
Pinch of nutmeg
Directions:
Add all ingredients to a blender and process until well-combined. Heat liquid mixture on stovetop on low-medium heat (being careful not to boil to keep nutrients intact) until it has come to desired temperature. Serve immediately.
