Pakistani drama industry is full of talented people. Our serials are not just famous throughout the country but also overseas, the fans are everywhere and with the new actors trying their luck in the industry, it is getting bigger and better. Just like this new hottie in town, Alamdar Hussain who was born in Peshawar and then moved to England when he was 10 years old and now he’s back to try his luck with acting. He is doing a second lead in Hareem Farooq and Ali Rehman’s starrer Main Khayal Hoon Kisi Aur Ka. We got a chance to talk to him about his debut and future plans, check it out:
About his debut:
It’s a new experience for me on such a big stage. I learn new things every day from different people and different situations.
Experience:
So far I’ve loved working with my team and co actors. Especially, Ali Rehman Khan, Hareem Farooq and Imran Raza Kazmi; who have supported me throughout and taught me a lot more about acting. It has made this project so much more fun and so much easier. It is important to get along with the people you work with and we all get along like family.
Character:
The character (Arman) that I am playing has spent a lot of his life in London for studies and work. Upon coming back to Pakistan, he falls in love with a girl, Dania (played by Hareem Farooq). He rushes to get married to her without knowing she loves his brother Zaryab (played by Ali Rehman Khan). This leads to lots of complications and the drama then follows on from there.
Future planning:
I am open to new and exciting opportunities and would love to work with talented actors from the industry and grow
