Every year Fashion Pakistan Council (FPC) brings two best and grand events for the fashion lovers of Pakistan. This time also, FPC is all set to make a mark with its upcoming Fashion Pakistan Week winter festive 2017. FPC has marked 11 years of success, the journey from season one till now has been exceptionally enormous and has introduced a lot of trends and designers to the main fashion market of Pakistan, nationally and internationally.
This year, the venue has changed but the grandness is still the same. While, our favourite Freiha Altaf is back with another year, we expect a great choreography. Hair and makeup partner like every year is Nabila (N-pro & N-gents), backstage will be managed by Production 021 and the PR will be handled by Talking Point.
Winter festive is all about celebrations and weddings, so the focus of the designers will be on bridals and luxury pret. With a novel new opening day by couture queen Shamaeel Ansari, who will be presenting The Blue Tulip, Fashion Pakistan will be heralding the start of solo shows within Fashion Weeks. After the off-site show, and for the next three days, seventeen designers have committed to sending out collections showing their latest formal, semi-formal and bridal collections.
The designer line up for each day is as follows:
Day 1: Misha Lakhani, Aamna Aqeel, Erum Khan, Obaid Sheikh, Saira Rizwan and Suffuse X Jaipur and Co.
Day 2: Sanam Chaudhri, Wardha Saleem, Emraan Rajput, Sadaf Malaterre, HEM and Deepak Perwani
Day 3: Tena Durrani, Nauman Arfeen, Saira Shakira, Adnan Pardesy, Maheen Khan and the Grand Finale by Sana Safinaz
The very dynamic Chairperson of Fashion Pakistan Deepak Perwani when speaking about this event said, “With the dawn of winter, Fashion Pakistan Week is all set to kick start the Winter Festive season with our exciting and energetic line-up. At the end of Day 4, we expect outstanding trends for this season to be showcased in a glamorous, crisp and very fashionable way.”
With this amazing line up of designers, we can’t wait to see the magic on the ramp. Looking forward to an amazing week ahead with full of colors and trends.
