The news was hard to digest by her followers and co-workers but the 43 years old actress has shown courage and she posted on her Twitter account regarding the revelation of high-grade cancer and it’s ongoing treatment at New York City, America.
The Hum Saath Saath Hain actress said she is very hopeful and determined to “fight every step of the way”.

Sonali Bendre has done lots of Bollywood movies in the late 90s and she has been cast against Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan to Aamir Khan and Ajay Devgan. She took a break from acting after marrying Goldie Behl in 2002.
The cancer suffering actress made her debut in 1994 with ‘Aag’ for which she even bagged the Filmfare Award for Lux New Face of the Year. Then she went on to star in a number of films such as ‘Bombay’, ‘Rakshak’, ‘Diljale’, ‘English Babu Desi Mem’, ‘Major Saab’, ‘Zakhm’, ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’, ‘Sarfarosh’, ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ to name a few.
