With Sehri and Iftar being two very important meals of the day. Here are some healthy eating tips for Sehri.
- Always eat maximum half an hour before Azaan so that you get plenty of time to drink water.
- Have a small bowl of yogurt in Sehri as it keeps you hydrated the entire day.
- Eating a very heavy meal to fight hunger experienced later in the day is an absolute no-no. Heavy meals at Sehri impose a heavy burden on the stomach, leading to indigestion, heartburn and bloating.
- Avoid hot and spicy food in Suhoor as they increase your thirst.
In other words sehri should be a wholesome, moderate meal that is filling and provides enough energy for many hours.
