Following the ongoing dispute in Kashmir, rising up to 100 days and counting, the UN Ambassador Angelina Jolie could not stay quiet anymore and showed her grief towards the attitude of UN and the United States. She showed great concern towards the state of war between India and Pakistan; which was badly affecting Kashmir and its people.
Angelina, while talking about the cause of migrant crisis due to such disputes, said; “It has created the risk of a race to the bottom, with countries competing to be the toughest.”
She said that both nations needed to pull together towards a mutual deal for the sake of those displaced people, by rebuilding a coordinated and orderly system in order to deal with refugees and migrants as a cause of the ongoing dispute between India and Pakistan.
“I have been very, very disheartened by my own country’s response to the situation,” Jolie said.
