Bollywood actress Preity Zinta offered her respects to the late Dina Wadia, and said she was adequately honored to have met the ‘energetic’ grandmother of her past darling Ness Wadia.
Dina Wadia, the young lady of Mohammed Ali Jinnah, passed away at her home in New York on Thursday. She was 98.
Preity on Thursday tweeted, “Sorry to learn that the wonderful and fiery Dina Wadia is no more. I was adequately honored to have met her and genuinely regarded her. Tear.”

The Veer Zaara star was ‘overwhelmed’ when she met the rich lady.
“The first occasion when I met her, I gazed at her surprised. Good lord, she conveys such a great amount of history inside her! From that point forward we’ve met over supper and at other social events a few times. Each time I’m struck by her delicate attitude, her exemplary class, and yes, her delicacy,” Preity had expressed.
While talking around one of her most loved ladies, Preity’s voice illuminated. She proceeds with, “I was additionally struck by her unmistakable facial likeness to her distinguished father (Jinnah). I’ve never observed two individuals who take after each other so nearly.”
Preity says she has met Dina Wadia both in Mumbai and abroad. “She lives in New York. In any case, she visits Mumbai where she has close family. She passes on a spread of unmistakable quality. Each time I meet her, there’s such an extraordinary add up to chug from her. There are a couple of individuals in this world who basically pass on an air about them. She’s one of them.”
