Few Beautiful Places In Pakistan That Should Be On Your Tour List

As November is near, we all have only one thing on our wish list: pack our warm clothes and head north to areas that remain relatively cooler. Or if ‘relatively cooler’ doesn’t excite you, how about escaping to a land covered in snow and ice.

And it’s not just about the cool weather. Pakistan has a lot to offer from scenic views of the beaches to the Karakoram ranges; from metropolitan cities to the enchanting valleys. So, while you are enjoying summer holidays, why not treat your visual senses to the picturesque beauty of the country and your taste buds to one of the most delicious cuisines in the world?

This post features some of the most fascinating, famous and some rarely spotted places from Pakistan that should be on your tour list.

1.Arang Kel

According to people if you ever visit Azad Kashmir and you missed Sharda, your trip is useless but what I figured out, once you visit Arang Kel you will forget Sharda. Arang Kel is a village, and tourist spot in the Neelam valley of Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. It is located on the hilltop above Kel at an altitude of 8,379 feet (2,554 m). you need to take Chairlift from Kel then climb 8,379 feet and you will see heaven on Earth.

2.Nathiagali

Nathiagali is a picturesque hill station town that is situated at the mid-point between Abbottabad and Murree. This beautiful scenic town is home to pine and walnut trees that cover the hills of Miranjani.  It is where the journey to paradise begins. One can view the snow-covered peaks of the Himalayas on a clear day. With some of the most beautiful trekking trails, it lets you enjoy the wildlife that still thrives within its forests. Take the time to be one with nature and bask in its beauty.

3.Kalam Valley

How does the idea of eating freshwater fish on a ‘manja’ that is actually perched ON a gushing river sound to you? Yes, you CAN dip your feet in the icy cold water. And don’t forget those gorgeous sights of the gigantic mountains, lush green forest, the noisy, gushing Kalam River, and the waterfalls. A visit to the Kalam Valley, located in the northern upper reaches of the Swat Valley, and accessible through Mingora, will be something you will remember forever. It is a dream come true.

4.Shogran

Shogran is a village situated on a green plateau in the Kaghan Valley, at a height of about 7,749 ft. above sea level. Once in Shogran, you will feel as if you are in a fairytale. While it’s a frozen beauty in winter, it is an oasis during summer. Surrounded by lush greenery, gorgeous flora and fauna that is unique to the area, beautiful waterfalls, gigantic mountains that cast a shadow over the valley and a view that makes you think you are in Europe – this is a place you will fall in love with.

5.Hunza Valley

Enveloped in the grand Himalayas and the vast Karakoram Ranges, this beautiful valley in the Gilgit-Baltistan region has been attracting tourists for years. Take a flight to Gilgit and hop on a car or bus to reach this stunning utopia. Once there, you will not want to go back home. Offering a whole new spectrum of colors, this is a place you will dream of settling in, away from the hustle and bustle of your city life. The beautiful sights of Hunza will stay in your memories forever, calling you back again and again.
