Pakistani superstar Fawad khan, who recently was seen in Shakun Batra’s “Kapoor and Sons”, is getting lots of fame and roles since his debut Bollywood movie “Khoobsurat”. He is taking Bollywood by storm! Where chhotey nawab “Saif Ali Khan” is getting tangled whether to do the music orientated Salman Khan’s Productions movie or not. He thought of doing the movie and accepted the amount but now he just dropped it and still hasn’t returned the amount to the SKP.
The 34-year-old actor will play the role of a musician in Sameer Sharma’s Jugalbandi. Buzz has it that Fawad wasn’t the first choice for the film and it was only after Saif Ali Khan chose to drop out of the film that Fawad was tied in for the role.
According to a report published in Indian media, Saif Ali Khan was set to play a young musician based in London while Anil Kapoor is playing a role of a senior music teacher with a similar lead in the film. The bond between the two goes bitter due to ego hassle.
The role appears to be a perfect for Pakistani actor Fawad who is a musician himself. The brilliant actor will now have the chance to act alongside his Khoobsurat co-star Sonam’s father, Anil Kapoor.
In fact with time Saif has gained the repute of an actor who strolls out of films more than signing them. Saif Ali khan already took the signing amount for the film of Rs 1.5 crore which he will have to return to the producers.
And with Saif leaving the film, the producers have found their perfect instrumentalist in Fawad Khan. It is a known fact that Fawad was a part of a rock band Entity Paradigm and the role suits him absolutely. The movie is to be released in July expectedly.
