Recently B-Town actress Priyanka Chopra wasn’t just subjected to hate mail, but also death threats and some even calling for her boycott and the brands that she endorses, including Samsung Electronics after American TV series “Quantico” depicted Indian nationalists are attempting to frame Pakistan in a terrorist plot. The episode received a lot of social media backlash which caused her to issue an apology statement on Twitter, where she claims to be proud Indian.
I’m extremely saddened and sorry that some sentiments have been hurt by a recent episode of Quantico. That was not and would never be my intention. I sincerely apologise. I’m a proud Indian and that will never change.

Super. We’ll be here waiting for an apology from Homeland, 24, Tyrant, Rambo, Zero Dark Thirty, American Sniper, Munich… https://t.co/f98FEiyWvl

Even after this happened but we Pakistani will go and support Indians by watching their movies. This will never end until we take a stand and ask for our apology like Fatima Bhutto did.
