Ali Khan who set the music industry ablaze in 2006 with his single Saathiya, now has been approved by Coke Studio for their current project.
“Coke Studio is an amazing experience, you get to work with the best musicians/producers in the country, and you get to learn a lot from these maestros as well. Working with the mentor’s i.e. Strings and Jaffer was a great learning experience for me. This song wouldn’t have been the way it is without them” said Ali Khan to FHM Pakistan.
He did a lot of OST’s but chose not to release any singles/videos in the recent past because of the turbulent phase our country. Currently he is working for an upcoming Pakistani film “Dance Kahani” and is all geared up for another film project and working on a couple of singles too.
Ali released two songs “Memories” and “Shaman ” as a tribute to Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and UK based music maestro Nitin Sawhney, which got raving reviews and led him to the top ten weekly charts worldwide. He again topped the charts with his single ‘Koi aye na’ which retained spot in top ten weekly charts for fourteen straight weeks.
On asking what advice he would like to give to the beginners, He said,
“Be very clear on what you want to achieve in life. Be prepared to work hard to get there. Don’t lose hope, it may take you more time than the others but you will get there as long as you keep trying”
We wish Ali Khan the best with all of his upcoming projects and hope he again climbs the ladder of success with all that he is set to do this year and in the future.
