Met Gala is basically a charity even that is considered a fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute. It has traditionally been timed to mark the opening of its annual fashion exhibition. Year after year, the event raises approx eight figure sums. Met Gala has been running since 90’s. Recently the Met Gala 2023 took place on the 1st of May 2023 in New York City. It was basically hosted by Penélope Cruz, Michaela Coel, Roger Federer, Dua Lipa, and Vogue’s Anna Wintour. This Met Gala 2023 whole theme was dedicated to honour Karl Legerfeld. The theme was all about the legendary iconic Karl Legerfeld, a legendary Chanel Designer, who passed away in 2019 at the age of 85.
