I’m sure, everybody knows about feminism by now, but I am here to tell you about meninism.
Meninism is a semi-satirical gender equality and men rights movement. It’s followers are known as Meninist. The term meninism was used in early 2000s to describe male feminists who opposed to sexism, also mistreated women rights for equality in society, politics and at work. By the next decade, the term was used to mock radical feminism. Now the term has evolved into a movement promoting awareness of issues affecting men.
Now if there are any women reading this, I know you might be thinking that what issues do men actually face? Here’s the thing; just because men are not vocal about their problems doesn’t mean we don’t have any. We face problems just as much as women do but we don’t go around making movements and whining about it in the streets. We face them like we are supposed to. Do you not think that when it comes to being treated unfairly that men are victims too. For example, if a woman hits a man in the middle of the street no one would help him or stop the woman but if the rules were reversed people would lose their minds.
Now don’t get me wrong I am not saying that it’s okay to hit a woman, I believe under no circumstances a man should raise his hand against a woman, all I am saying is that there are times when men are almost mistreated.
All of this is my personal opinion, I don’t expect many people to agree with me but even to those who don’t agree with me I would just like to say that maybe it’s time men also start fighting for their rights. Let’s see how it turns out.
