Gothic or Gothic Fashion belongs to the era of 18th or 19th Century. It is a very dark, spooky and mysterious kind of a fashion trend which marks the Gothic style. It is worn by members of Gothic subculture. The typical gothic fashion includes exotic hairstyles, dyed black hair, dark clothing, dark makeup. Both male and female goths wear dark lipsticks, dark liners that too with a dramatic effect.
Styles are often inspired by the punk fashion such as spiked hair and wristbands and chokers. It is also very much inspired by Victorian and Elizabethan styles. Also with Emo or metal looks.
This Gothic Fashion is becoming an inspiration for other styles which aren’t Gothic. It is said that all Goths have the desire to stand out in a society considered too conformist. The fabrics are used for Gothic outfits are velvet, leather, silk, lace. And the fashion stuff that includes in Gothic fashion are laces, corset, belts, boots and gloves. Men or women who love to dress in Gothic fashion style make sure they have strictly crimson or black clothes in their wardrobes, cloaks or studs, combat boots or cloak boots, buckles, corsets and bustiers. Everything from the sturdy buckles, imaginary lines and the faux leather fabrics and beautiful satin also make an incredible combination of Gothic style.
