A Hercules reboot is in the making and that’s the gospel truth.
Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Disney is working on a live action version of it’s 1997 musical take on the Greek mythological figure.
While there is no news on casting, we do know that Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo will helm the flick so we’re expecting some epic cinematic moments.
At the moment we also do not know if the film will be a musical or not, considering how the Mulan reboot took a different shift from the animated version but if you ask us, there are several movies based on Hercules and the musical element is what made Disney’s animated feature stand out. And if that’s the case, we’re most interested in the casting of the Muses.
Also, we can’t be the only ones expecting Danny Devito to reprise his role as Phil. If they can get James Earl Jones back as Mufasa for The Lion King, they can do this!
