Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, actress Portia de Rossi, have just unloaded a Beverly Hills mansion for $15.5 million, according to listing records.
Ms. DeGeneres, 61, listed the five-bedroom Los Angeles home—which sold on Friday—in June for $17.95 million, less than a year after buying the spread for $15 million, records show.
The home is a “stunning example of the Hollywood Regency style with theatricality elegant proportions and dramatic details,” according to the listing with Kurt Rappaport of Westside Estate Agency.
The couple did a good deal of cosmetic work to the 5,100-square-foot home during their tenure, Mr. Rappaport told Mansion Global.

Mr. Neuman has been the registered trustee on most, if not all, of the recent real estate transactions made by the comedian and 46.
He did not respond to a request for comment on behalf of himself, Ms. DeGeneres or Ms. de Rossi.
The transaction marks the second home the couple has sold in as many months. In July, they parted with a beachfront compound in California’s oceanside city of Carpinteria, selling it for $23 million after finding a buyer within one week, Mansion Global previously reported.
