Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy is a two-time Academy Award winner in the category of documentary filmmaking. She’s also co-directing Ms. Marvel and has directed and produced three Bahadur cartoon films. Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy has a new project in the works, which she will work on with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). She’s working on a documentary about Pakistan cricket’s 70-year history. It will cover Pakistan’s debut in 1954, as well as significant events such as the maiden test triumph, the rise of Imran Khan in the 1970s, and the 1992 World Cup victory. The documentary will also examine some of the difficult times that Pakistan cricket faced in the early 2000s, as well as some of the iconic cricketers who have made Pakistan proud.
