Warner Media announced on Thursday, that its cult favorite “Doctor Who” will be available on the streaming service when it launches in spring 2020.
Through this deal it will give HBO Max subscribers access to 11 seasons of “Doctor Who,” beginning with the Ninth Doctor episodes that premiered in 2005.
This plan has a wider range on Thursday with the news that its American debut will include a major non-AT&T library of content, a number of BBC America series, particularly the complete “modern” run of Doctor Who.
The streaming service also acquired rights for “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” “Pretty Little Liars” and “Friends.”
The streaming service also has plans for original content, including a spin-off of Gossip Girl and many more.
The price for the streaming service are not yet revealed and the service has yet to receive a more formal launch window beyond Spring 2020.
