If you thought Avengers: Endgame was the biggest hit of this season then you are wrong. After acquiring Fox film studios, Walt Disney Studios has shifted around multiple release dates from Disney and Fox. So now Disney has a list of exciting movies coming out this season and we can’t for the release.
So if you’re a Disney fan and their animation specifically, this will be a treat for you.
“Aladdin”
Release date: Friday, May 24
This live-action remake of an old classic is like taking a trip down childhood. Our favorite part about the remake, Will Smith is playing the role of magic genie and what we saw from the trailer, he’s acing it!
“Toy Story 4”
Release date: Friday, June 21
After successful releases of Toy Story 1, 2 and 3, Pixar and Disney are coming up with the 4th part and it looks as promising as the other three parts. The sequel will also introduce several new characters and we just can’t wait for it.
“The Lion King”
Release date: Friday, July 19
When Disney first released the news of Lion King’s remake, fans went crazy. The idea of a remake of this 1994 was the best thing by Disney and the trailer release was just so nostalgic and will actually hit you right in the feels.
“Maleficent: Mistress of Evil”
Release date: Friday, October 18
The first part of Maleficent was itself a brilliant idea considering that Sleeping Beauty is amongst the favorite tales for all the 90’s kids and now the news of its sequel is way more exciting. The cherry on top- Angelina Jolie is perfection in the role of horned fairy.
