After the release of Padmavati’s trailer, the movie has been facing a lot of troubles.
Because many people believed that Sanjay Leela Bhansali is distorting the facts and insulting history and several religious groups by showing a love story between Alauddin Khilji and Rani Padmini played by Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone respectively.
To rectify the conspiracies, Bhansali released an official statement citing that the movie does not bear a romantic liaison between Alauddin Khilji and Rani Padmavati.
Talking about her much-awaited film, Deepika in an interview said, ‘’It is extremely overwhelming and extremely tiring as well. We have faced many challenges but still, we stand up with the same spirit and keep on going. Nothing can stop us.’’
Not just this, Deepika took to Twitter to slam the protestors and ever seeked help of Union Minister Smriti Irani to take some action against them.
