Pakistan is a country of approximately 207 million people, out of which the number of registered voters are about 106 million. For that, Up to 8 lakh, police and military forces were stationed at more than 85,000 polling stations across the country as the voting took place today.
General Bajwa visited the Army Election Support Centre in Rawalpindi where he was given a detailed briefing about the plan for the provision of assistance to the ECP for free, fair and transparent conduct of the general elections. The COAS maintained that the army will ensure safe and secure environment while performing security duties enabling the people of Pakistan to exercise their democratic right to vote.
And to be honest I feel soo proud of my army and rangers for doing such a great job only for us. Standing all day in such heat without caring about anything is a big deal. Our army has proved that it’s the best of best amongst all. Not only me but the people from all over the Pakistan today felt proud of our army and was soo sweet of them to show good gesture towards the army people who were performing their duty in the elections 2018.
