So you have probably grown up watching Bollywood movies and, I am guessing, are well acquainted with the Bolly mantra of everything happening ‘bees saal baad’.
No, we did not just give away the plot of your favorite television soap, but what we are about to tell apparently happened recently in India! Though, it can be made into a movie later, who knows!
A woman who was thought to have passed away 40 years ago, rose from the dead and was reunited with her two daughters.
Vilasa passed away in 1976 after being bitten by a black cobra while collecting fodder from the fields. Believing that she had died, her family performed the last rites and submerged her body in the holy river of Ganga.
But when she miraculously came back home, she explained that she had not died from the snake bite, but had in fact, lost consciousness. The 40-year-old Vilasa was then rescued and taken to a village temple.
And, how did they know it was her? The birthmark, people! It has to be the birthmark. Her younger daughter added,
“WE IMMEDIATELY RECOGNIZED HER FROM A BIRTHMARK.”
It was almost Jon Snow-esque episode. Only, with a tadka of Bollywood and a happy ending. No?
