After working with Aamir Khan in ‘Dangal’, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra are learning the ropes of film making and acting from their on-screen father.
Dangal has truly changed our life, says Fatima Sana Shaikh.
“It’s been an experience we wouldn’t have got as just actors. An actor’s journey is confined to the sets, but we are also interning with (Aamir Khan), and hence we know things about film making, why is what happening, scripts, camera,”
“Yes, yes, or things like why a movie needs a background score,” adds Sanya Malhotra, Shaikh’s co-star, who plays her sister, wrestler Babita Kumari.”
Talking about it to the Business of Cinema, Sanya said,
“In January 2016, we wrapped up the film’s shoot and didn’t have anything to do. So, Fatima and I decided to go on an India darshan. That’s when Aamir Khan asked us if we would want to intern with him. For a moment, we went totally blank, but then nodded at the offer.”
