Gohar Rasheed has shared his two cents over the ongoing criticism on airing Ertugrul Ghazi on national tv.
The dubbed version of hit Turkish series Dirilis: Ertugrul has garnered massive praises in Pakistan, many people belonging to the entertainment fraternity consider it a threat to the local industry.
Taking it to social media, Gohar Rasheed not just defended the airing of the series but also advised the local producers to come up with something creative.
According to Gohar, foreign content being appreciated in Pakistan is not a threat instead of criticizing it, create better content.
“My two cents. Any foreign content which is being appreciated by our Pakistani audience is not a threat! It’s a competition like in any business! If you want job security, take ownership, and create better content. Stop being petty #TakeResponsibility“, writes Gohar in a tweet.
“In the name of competition, you don’t criticize your competition, instead, bring your A-game on! Fix your attitude. That’s what I have learned from my seniors like Humayun Bhai. We must embrace diversity and not be scared of it1”, he further added.
