Everybody was predicting that Pakistani cinema industry would be an utter failure if Bollywood movies are removed out of it. However, Pakistan’s largest network of cinemas, Cinepax has decided to celebrate Pakistani content this October. The announcement has been made through a Facebook post.
Cinepax will be featuring Pakistani content only; in partnership with the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR). They will be featuring best Pakistani films till Bollywood is banned, here.
The Pakistan’s best films celebration will be held throughout the month of October. The cinema owners will play popular Pakistani films, including, Bol, Jawani Phir Nahin Ani, Bin Roye and many others.
Earlier, the Pakistani cinema Nueplex posted on social media its decision to ban Bollywood films after India banned Pakistani actors and content. Cinepax also followed the suit, and barred the showcasing of Indian movies.
All the other local cinema houses will also be following the footprints.
