So I went for a movie last night with my friend but I missed a show of 1:40 am then we decided to watch a show of 4:05 am. I was sitting in a lobby, what I witnessed was a family of 7 to 8 members went inside for a movie, even they had little kids with them but they dropped a young aged girl 13 to 14 years in a lobby with their bags and stuff. I was watching this whole scene because I was waiting for my show.
This girl waited for them for like two hours and she slept while waiting for them. They came outside at 3:50 am and nobody was really looking for her. They all were laughing and talking normally, then a lady woke her up, I went to that lady and asked her if that girl was her daughter? She got offended and replied, “No. She’s our maid!” To which I replied, “That’s the reason why you’re treating her like that” and left. After that, I went for my show but I was so disturbed by watching this.
After a few days, I witnessed another incident. After I got off from work and was leaving for home, I saw a woman beating her maid in front of some stationary shop, on the road. She hit her head against the car’s window and the kids around her were continuously laughing. The maid was 6 or 7 years old.
It was really heart breaking, humans treating other humans like this. Even animals do have feelings. Why are we so selfish to each other? Where’s the basic humanity? I couldn’t sleep after witnessing only two incidents. Imagine the number of children going through such treatments every day.
PLEASE DO NOT TREAT CHILDREN LIKE THAT, NO MATTER WHAT CASTE, COLOR, CULTURE AND CLASS THEY BELONG TO.
THEY ARE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SOULS IN THIS WORLD!
THEY DON’T DESERVE TO BE TREATED LIKE THAT!
