According to a private Indian news channel, M. S. Dhoni expressed his sad story about the death of his first girlfriend, Priyanka Jha, whom he met during a flight.
M. S. Dhoni claimed that somewhere in between the whole incident he was responsible for the sudden death of his girlfriend, as a result of a car accident. He said that he would always be busy in his cricket career, whereas she would always insist him for a visit at her home town.
Eventhough, Dhoni tried his best to give her a visit at times, something would always come up regarding his career which would ruin the entire plan.
Dhoni said that, “The day Priyanka died, she was out getting a gift for me.” She was on call with Dhoni when suddenly a truck crashed into her car, which resulted in her immediate death. Even then, according to Indian captain M. S. Dhoni, she was consistently insisting him to come visit her, soon.
Dhoni said that the reason behind sharing his story is because of the criticism he was facing after the recent movie, “M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story.” He was criticised on the fact that he had engaged in another affair with Sakshi Dhoni, after the death of his ex-girlfriend and got married. Dhoni asked his fans to watch the movie once again and understand the reason behind getting married soon.
