Pakistan’s premier oil Company, Byco Petroleum Pakistan Limited, launched their Green campaign to Make Pakistan Green Again on the nation’s 71st Independence Day at a special tree plantation ceremony held today at the Urban Forest park in Clifton Karachi. Shaniera Akram, wife of renowned Pakistan fast bowler Wasim Akram, inaugurated the ceremony to plant 1,000 trees at Shahzad Qureshi’s Urban Forest. A further 2,000 trees have been planted in District Lasbela at Byco’s Bowzer village near its refinery in Balochistan.
Byco has concurrently launched a campaign offering complimentary pouches of 2 million Moringa Tree seeds to its customers to plant and help Make Pakistan Green Again. The objective of this campaign is to lead the way in showing Pakistan’s citizens how they can Be the Change that we want to see in the world. Every individual needs to be conscientious about the environment to ensure a healthy future for the generations to come. To inaugurate the campaign to Make Pakistan Green Again, Byco organized a Tree Plantation ceremony at the Urban Forest in Clifton, Karachi.
