British actor John Hurt died at the age of 77 after a prolonged battle with pancreatic cancer, said reports on Saturday citing his agent. The actor grabbed fame with his roles in “Harry Potter” and “Elephant Man”.
The actor played ‘Mr Ollivander’ in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, and also starred in the 1978 film “Midnight Express”. John was also nominated for the Oscars twice in his acting career.
