Qandeel Baloch continues to live in our hearts even a year after she has been taken away in the name of honour killing by her own brother. Well, seems like Baaghi was not the last time we saw her life closely. We are going to go back in time again next month as a book is set to be published on Qandeel’s life.
The book will be written by a Pakistani journalist, Sanam Maher, and is named, The Sensational Life & death of Qandeel Baloch.
Bumper week for work announcements from me: So hello! She’s here – coverreveal! A story that has taken over my life for the last 2 years — a story not just about #QandeelBaloch, but about the place that created her and ultimately found that it had very little room for her. pic.twitter.com/dob8rwXfwQ

Don’t we absolutely love the powerful art on the cover? We cannot wait to see what the book has to offer to our minds.
The book will be out on 10th May, 2018

Sanam seems ecstatic
I’m so so happy that the cover features artwork by Rahema Zaheer Alam (@rahema.z) – Rahema made this and shared it online when news broke of Qandeel’s murder, and it has been amazing to see how it has gone viral and taken on a life of its own, most recently at the Aurat Marches
