Makeup artist and entrepreneur Bobbi Brown is moving on.
The renowned beauty guru is leaving her namesake label, which she started with 10 lipsticks in New York City in 1991 and later became acquired by Estee Lauder Companies in 1995.
“The brand’s 25-year anniversary was a wonderful milestone that made me realize it was time to start a new chapter and move on to new ventures,” Brown said in a statement.
She further said, “I am thankful for the extraordinary people that I have had the privilege to work with over the years and proud of the creative endeavors and innovative products we’ve created together. I am also incredibly grateful to The Estee Lauder Companies and the Lauder family for the many opportunities they gave me. I’m excited to see what the future holds.”
