We have yet another singer to be added to the list of actors and this time it is none other than Bilal Khan. The ‘Bachana’ star who stole our heartbeats with his melodious tracks is all set to hit Television industry with HUM TV’s ‘Sammi’.
During a conversation with the local publication house, he said:
“I can’t give a lot of details right now about my character but I can tell you that it was a lot of fun and challenging playing him because in a lot of ways the character I play is different from me in real life. Having said that, I did find plenty of traits in the character that I can relate with.
“The two main reasons for me for choosing to be a part of this project are that it’s based on a social issue in Pakistan and is produced in collaboration with John Hopkins University and that the director Saife Hasan along with the actors in the serial are some of the most
However, the only question that arises after reading this is, will we be deprived of Bilal’s vocals? No! Definitely, a sigh of relief.
“I continue to produce music and it’s a part of my identity. I’m releasing a lot of new music this year. However when I take on a project apart from music, be it acting or any other creative work, I commit to it completely and give it my all. Future work in acting for me is dependent on getting quality projects like Sammi but music is definitely going to be a constant,” adds Bilal.
Apart from Bilal Khan, Mawra and Adnan Siddiqui will also be a part of HUM TV’s upcoming production.
