Big little lies season 2 is now finally over, with no announcement about season 3, all we can do is wait.
But looks like Liane Moriarty, who wrote the novel has something else cooking up in her mind. She is already thinking about a possible spin-off of the show.
In a interview she said, ” The only thing I had sometimes thought, even before any of this had happened, was maybe jumping ahead to when the children are in high school years ahead. So, that’s a possibility, but not for years to come. I feel like I would need a break, too, before I did that.”
She further said said, “That would be for me, for a book.” She continued, “Which maybe wouldn’t even have the same characters. Maybe I’m in the same town. But I don’t know. It’s just thoughts.”
The series revolves around the mothers of a group of children who attend the same school, and as it transpires in Season 2. To further carry the story of children in the spin-off would be a great idea, as the central plot revolve around the children.
Nicole Kidman recently revealed that, ” I think we would love to do a season three because there is certainly ideas, but we would not do it without all of the same people involved, even the kids.”
To be honest, we would love to see another season of Big little lies.
I mean who gets such an amazing cast and script on one screen, so lets hope for the best and meanwhile if you haven’t seen the season, go check it out.
