Queen Bey and Olivier Rousteing, creative director of Balmain are planning to collaborate and come up with some exquisite couture pieces, inspired by Beyoncé’s Coachella performances. Since her on-stage dancers loved their outfits which were designed by Rousteing himself along with Beyoncé’s yellow and pink sweatshirt. The fashion connoisseur thought about creating a Beyoncé x Balmain collaboration that could make those poignant graphics available to all of Bey’s fans! Balmain x Beyoncé collection will be showcased in at Balmain’s Paris flagship store.
The designer himself was pretty excited about bringing fashion and music together. He wants the collection to represent woman empowerment and feminism with a blend of creativity. Recreating Beyoncé Knowles looks will cease all the iconic moments for the millennial generation. This way each piece will become a part of fashion history considering the legendary singer herself.
All the proceeds from the collaboration will go to the United Negro College Fund. Earlier, Beyoncé also donated $100,000 to four different black colleges after her Coachella set. Olivier Rousteing wants to utilize fashion to give back to the community globally.
