Warner Bros. Pictures recently released the trailer for IT Chapter Two and we’re excited because the movie seems like one of the fast-paced, mind-jolting horror feature films that all the horror movie lovers have been waiting for.
And there is a LOT of blood. At Comic-Con, actor Jessica Chastain jokingly called the scene “Carrie on steroids.” She also told talk show host Conan O’Brien it required 4,500 gallons of fake blood on set; she suspects it will win the record for most fake blood used in a horror film.
Warner Bros. Pictures revealed, “Every 27 years, evil revisits the town of Derry, Maine, IT Chapter Two brings the characters — who’ve long since gone their separate ways — back together as adults, nearly three decades after the events of the first film”.
We hope the movie is as promising as the trailer seems to be because it’s only once in a few years that we get to witness a good horror movie that doesn’t make us feel like we were sitting through a quagmire of bad visual effects and an unnecessarily dramatic soundtrack.
Part two of King’s 1986 horror classic floats to cinemas on 6 September.
