Saqib Malik’s directorial Baaji became the 6th highest grossing film of 2019 as it completed its run at the cinemas. The film received a decent reception and was well received by critics. The film stars Meera, Osman Khalid Butt, Amna Ilyas, Ali Kazmi, Mohsin Abbas Haider and Nayyer Ejaz in pivotal roles.
The film, featuring our own Baaji Meera Jee, Osman Khalid Butt, Amna Ilyas, Ali Kazmi, Mohsin Abbas Haider and Nayyar Ejaz in pivotal roles, was liked by cinema lovers and it received a huge applause other showbiz personalities as well as by critics. It also secured awards at the Mosaic Film Festival in Canada.
Talking about her film, Meera said that she was quite confident that Baaji will do good at the box office. However, she didn’t expect that the movie will be a big hit.
“I was expecting my movie will attract film lovers in Pakistan. But now it has become so successful that people want it to be re-released here and it is a happy moment for me,” Meera said in an interview.
According to the director of Baaji Saqib Malik, the movie will hit the screens again on December 6, 2019.
