Few days ago, Mark Zuckerberg debuted Jarvis – A Digital Butler for any smart home.
In a demonstration video, he asked Jarvis to play some good Nickelback songs and the device replied, “Sorry Mark, I am afraid to tell you that there are no good Nickleback songs.” Mark paused for a second and replied that was actually a test!
Avril heard about the joke and wasn’t exactly happy or laughing. As a result, she took to Twitter, Thursday evening to defend the band that includes her ex Chad Kroeger.
“Dear Mark, many people use your products—some people love them and some people don’t. Either way, you’re allowed your musical opinion however, your jab at Nickelback is in poor taste,” she wrote on social media. “When you have a voice like yours, you may want to consider being more responsible with promoting bullying, especially given what’s going on in the world today.”
She added, “#SayNoToBullying #TheJokeIsOld #NickelbackHasSoldOver50MillionAlbums.”
