Marvel had been keeping the highly-anticipated movie’s secrets under tight lock and key for some time, as this movie was in production long before Infinity War was even released in theatres.
The new banner image was recently posted to all of the official social media channels for Avengers 4. It doesn’t come with any major reveals or anything along those lines, but the word Avengers is bathed in Thanos purple and the title Endgame is coloured in gold, mirroring the Mad Titan’s armour.
While Thanos didn’t actually feature much in the movie’s first trailer, it’s unavoidably clear that he’s going to be, once again, a major fixture in the sequel, as the remaining heroes are going to want revenge for what he did.
You can expect to see plenty more of him on our screens when the film hits theatres on April 26, 2019.
