Audi A3, Now available in Pakistan for PKR 40 lacs

Audi recently announced that the bookings for 2017 A3 refurbishment is now open in Pakistan.

The A3 is very much comparable to the latest A4 from the outside but with more advanced technology on the inside. Across the world, 950,000 of the current generation A3 have been showcased.

Audi, themselves, in a statement claimed that it is the best; “The new A3 range; made up of the three-door, five-door Sport back, Saloon and Cabriolet; takes a leap forward in all the key areas. Refreshed styling? Yep. Great choice of engines? You bet. The very latest technology? Of course.”

The A3 packs a choice of four turbo-petrol and three turbo-diesel engines; plus a further turbo-petrol e-tron electric hybrid version with a 75kw electric motor.

New, cylinder-on-demand technology has also been incorporated in this model; which allows the car to carry two cylinders but with a lighter load. Due to this, the new petrol range features 115bhp three-cylinder, 1.0-litre engine, which replaces the old 1.2 and the 150bhp 1.4-litre.

In Audi’s official blog post, they highlighted the engine enhancements, by stating:

“Another addition to the A3 range is a completely new 2.0 TFSI engine, which produces 190PS. It utilizes an innovative combustion process and can be paired with either a six-speed manual or the slick-shifting seven-speed S-tronic gearbox. The popular 110PS 1.6 TDI and 150PS and 184PS 2.0 TDI options remain, all combining efficiency with punchy performance.”
