Atif Aslam had shot a music video with Bollywood actress Ileana D’Cruz in Turkey and rumour has it that the project has been shelved.
As revealed by an international publication, the music video sung and shot on Pakistani singer was produced by the famed Indian music label; T Series. But, music production house has currently given the release a back seat due to escalating tensions between the both countries.
As per the source;
“Since it features a Pakistani artiste, there is no way it can be released in the present circumstances. The producers have no option but to let it remain in cold storage. They are hoping things will change in the future when they can take a call.”
Vinod Bhanushali, the music procurement head of T-Series said;
“There is no plan to release a music video as of now. Before the release of any single, we always have a plan in place. Right now, nothing is concrete.”
Atif Aslam’s music video was directed and choreographed by Bollywood choreographer Ahmed Khan, who shot to fame with “Afghan Jalebi”. The entire video production was done in the exotic ruins of the ancient city of Ephesus which is one of the most visited archaeological sites in Turkey.
