Yes, you heard it right, our very own Atif Aslam and Arijit Singh are coming together and now we just can’t seem to wait any longer. Finally the two most popular and outstanding names of the music industry from India & Pakistan have come together to partner along for a song called ‘Musafir’ for an upcoming movie ‘Sweetie Weds NRI’.
Composed by the young Palash Muchhal who reached out across the border to approach talent, Atif and Arijit’s duo features a ‘heart-touching and emotional track’ which brings out the ‘dard’ in the song, quoted according to Atif in an interview with Mid-day.
When asked why he thought of choosing Arijit and Atif, Palash exclaimed, “They are both extremely talented musicians and my favorites, too. I have grown up listening to Atif and I love Arijit’s voice. Both express pain and I needed that for Musafir.”
He also added that when the singers heard the tune, they instantly agreed to recording it.
