Asim Azhar is one of the talents who have got the fame overnight but with hardwork. We totally loved Asim’s “Tera Who Pyar” which crossed 130 Million views. Apparently, the news surpasses on internet that Asim Azhar’s track “Jo Tu Na” Mila was actually a plagiarized version of Japanese Studio Ghibli production’s soundtrack.
Here is the video of that Japanese song “A Town With An Ocean” from 1989. If you compare both, you will realize both the tunes are same which is really surprising.
Well, there are two sides of the coin. Asim Azhar clarified that he had actually acquired the rights for the tune legally.
He said: “That part of the song has been sampled through proper and legal means under Universal Music India, who released the song.”
“Such a big company won’t let such a big release go just like that,” concluded Azhar.
Also, Asim Azhar’s track “Jo Tu Na Mila” crossed 100 million views on YouTube which makes him one of a few local artists to have achieved this.
