Ashton Kutcher on Trump’s Immigration ban: “My blood is boiling right now!”

There are couple of celebrities who have spoken in the wake of President Donald Trump’s executive order, which bars some refugees from entering the U.S.
But for Ashton Kutcher, the situation hits especially close to home. In a series of tweets, Kutcher openly addressed the ban on behalf of his wife, actress Mila Kunis.
Kutcher and Kunis have been in a relationship for years now, but the latest instance of Kutcher standing by his woman is making our hearts sing.
Kunis, who is of Jewish descent, was born in Soviet Ukraine and came to the United States as a refugee during the Cold War, she was just 7 years old at the time. Kutcher related his wife’s experience as a refugee to the current situation facing many refugees today.
“My wife came to this country on a refugee visa in the middle of the Cold War,” Kutcher tweeted. “My blood is boiling right now!”
In a second tweet, he wrote, “We have never been a nation built on fear. Compassion that is the root ethic of America. Our differences are fundamental to our sustainability.”

On Saturday, a federal judge temporarily blocked part of Trump’s executive order, which prevents immigrants from Iraq, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia, and Yemen from entering the U.S. for 90 days.
The bans also indefinitely bars U.S. entry to Syrian refugees. In the order, Trump made it clear that refugees already in the U.S. or in transit could not be deported, though that does not necessarily mean they will be allowed on U.S. soil.
