An Indian actress Rhea Chakraborty has been arrested on the base of allegations against her. The arrest took place on 8 September, 2020. She is suspect in the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput.
Rhea and Sushant were in relationship before the death of Sushant. The allegation against Rhea is that she was giving drugs to Sushant and is suspected to be involved in Sushant death.
On the day of Rhea’s arrest, several videos of Sushant went viral on social media where he seems high on drugs. However, some groups are claiming that he was not high on drugs but only acting to adopt to that character.
Narcotics Control Board (NCB) claims to have accessed drug related chat between Rhea and her brother from Rhea’s smartphone.
Some sources claim that Rhea has confessed to procuring drugs for Sushant. It reportedly happened during interrogation in NCB office in Mumbai.
It is feared that a nexus of drug dealers was involved in the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput as they feared that Sushant might be of harm for them. However, it has not been proved yet. Nine people have been arrested in this case so far. If a just inquiry is held, none can get away from the justice system.
