Armeena Rana Khan honoured with “Women Empowerment Award”

Armeena Rana Khan, Pakistani-Canadian actor, was recently presented with the “Women Empowerment Award” at this year’s Pakistan Achievement Awards.

Pakistan Achievement Awards were organized in London, with the purpose of honouring those people who have helped in making Pakistan a standout in the world. While Ahsan Khan bagged the award for the best actor due to his remarkable role in “Udaari”, Armeena Khan was honoured with the Women Empowerment Award due to her tremendous stand as a women.

Apart from Armeena and Ahsan, Sana and Javed Sheikh were also awarded in the ceremony.

Armeena took her happiness and gratitude to twitter; announcing her glorious win in the UK.

Armeena Rana, initially, made her debut with a Bollywood film Huff! It’s Too Much in 2013. She later on starred in a British film – Writhe and is also set to be a part of another British movie, in which she will be playing a negative role. Ms. Khan is also the first Pakistani actor to walk on the red carpet of Cannes Film Festival.
