Are you patriotic? Well before asking this question I should affirm what it actually means. Loving your country is patriotism that includes loving your cities, your people, the culture and traditions, the history, the food, whatever you want to love. Patriotic.
Patriotism is not just chanting slogans of Pakistan Zindabaad , it is something that you show with your attitude. its the empathy, love and affection towards the nation as a whole.
We all agree that we are living in a third world country with its draw back and unstable political and economic conditions, hence just bad mouthing and cursing the leaders and government is not helping. A true patriotic Pakistani will instead stand up and do something to improve the condition and play his/ her own part.
I personally love my country with all its many faults and issues, but I also, the same as practically everyone else who lives here I am no fan of the nationalism aspect that is present here, although I do understand it.
Never forget your roots and show understanding towards everyone, always ask yourself how you can contribute to your country!
