It’s that time of year where we can finally say goodbye to summers and hot weather. Yes, it’s Novemberrr baby!
Talking about winters except for Karachi, it’s quite chilly all over Pakistan, while in Karachi it’s pretty much unpredictable, short and utterly beautiful. One day it’s mild and enjoyable and the other day, you feel that the heat is back in the city. You notice a slight change in the weather by a sudden crackle of dryness on your skin and a parched feeling in your throat. In the day time you can easily wear a T-shirt while at night, light woolen clothes can keep you warm and cosy. Some of the Women of Karachi are often to be found in their lawn clothes with shawls, while some of us switch to our decent winter wardrobes and flaunt ourselves even if it’s 15 degrees outside, but whatever we do, we do it in style.
Some people often escape from here to the Northern areas of Pakistan to enjoy snowfall and an extreme cold weather, while some of them who normally avoid visiting Pakistan in summers due to extreme hot weather, usually come over here to have a good time with their loved ones.
Winters in Karachi hardly last a month, which is why we make the most of it.
