Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was bombarded with criticism by the BJP leaders after he vocalized on the climate of intolerance in India. Actor Anupam Kher one of the senior most actors in the Indian Film industry well known around the globe for his extreme efforts and services for the Indian film industry boosting the economy of India, is among the Bollywood celebrities who came out in support of Shah Rukh Khan after he was compared to Pakistani terrorist.
Although Mr. Kher had earlier criticized the decision of filmmakers returning their awards to protest rising intolerance in the country, supported Khan who had also commented on “the climate of intolerance” on the occasion of his 50th birthday by saying that there was nothing worse than religious intolerance and that it would take India to the Dark Ages.
Recently Kher blasted the controversial statements made by some of the BJP leaders against Shah Rukh,tweeting “Some members of the BJP really need to control their tongue & stop talking rubbish about @iamsrk. He is a national icon & we r PROUD of him,”
Kher shows his full support to SRK, if BJP extremist continue to show their harsh reality and do not put an end to their false accusations against Shahrukh Khan he would be left with no choice but leave the land he’s been raised and brought up in and settle down in Pakistan, but to ponder about the act is it fair, Kher is not happy about the fact and does not want SRK to take such a huge step but is of the fear that if all this continuous he might do it so.
